Histobit was the single player game that I created as my degree project for my university studies. Histobit was a game to teach users about the history of videogames, with each level becoming more advanced as the timeline moves on.

It was created using ActionScript 3, and was the first game that I have made. The game was also accompanied by two promotional posters that were displayed at the exhibition.

I am Kelsey Renée Scheurich. I have just completed my Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design with Honors at the University of Waikato, and I am looking foward to getting out into the "real world".

I love web design and motion graphics, as well as illustration, typography, photography, film and programming. I also have picked up some pretty swanky coding skills on my journey through university, mainly HTML5, CSS3, Actionscript 3, jOuery/Javascript, PHP and some C#. I am hardworking and a quick learner, and I have some mad skills with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects and Flash. Many think that Flash is evil, but I think that it is more just misunderstood. I love to be adventurous with my designs, hence my Honors topic; Spacey Wacey Dropcaps.

In my spare time I enjoy archery and being outside (gotta get that vitamin D!) and I tend to read copious (extreme) amounts of books when I am not watching sci-fi movies or looking at cats on the internet.
